Based on the cleverly remixed Thriller song (Mike Danavan vs Louis La Roche 2020 Remix) I created a Megamix of Thriller and Ghosts, the two most revolutionary and captivating videos in the history of music.

Frames from Thriller Horror short film mix with other frames from the 1997 Ghosts Horror medium-length film.

Inside the video there are also clips taken from behind the scenes of Ghosts ... some unpublished high resolution footage.

THRILLER

The music video, also known as Michael Jackson's Thriller, for "Thriller" premiered on MTV on December 2, 1983. In the video, Jackson and his girlfriend (played by Ola Ray) are confronted by zombies while walking home from a movie theater; Jackson becomes a zombie and performs a dance routine with a horde of the undead. The video references numerous horror films. The video is credited for transforming music videos into a serious art form, breaking down racial barriers in popular entertainment, and popularizing the making-of documentary format. Many elements have had a lasting impact on popular culture, such as the zombie dance and Jackson's red jacket, designed by Landis' wife Deborah Nadoolman.

GHOSTS

Michael Jackson's Ghosts is a 1996 short film starring singer Michael Jackson, written by horror novelist Stephen King and Mick Garris, and directed by Stan Winston. It was filmed and first screened in 1996 and released along with select prints of the film Thinner. It was released as promo a year later internationally on LaserDisc, VHS and Video CD. Jackson plays five roles.

The film tells the story of an eccentric man with supernatural powers being forced out of a small town by its mayor. The film includes a series of dance routines performed by Jackson and his "family" of ghouls. The songs are taken from Jackson's albums HIStory (1995) and Blood on the Dance Floor: HIStory in the Mix (1997). (WIKIPEDIA)
