#OnThisDay April 19, 2006. #MichaelJackson Confirmed New Management Deal Michael Jackson has confirmed his new manager is English music mogul Guy Holmes. Michael Jackson has signed a record deal with Two Seas Records, the label he has founded with Bahrain ruler Sheik Abdulla Hamad Al-Khalifa. Gut Records chairman Holmes has been named Two Seas Records Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The superstar is currently writing a new album which is due for release late next year (2007)..."I am incredibly excited about my new venture and I am enjoying being back in the studio making music." Stated Michael. Holmes, who has helped Crazy Frog and Tom Jones top the charts, will oversee Michael Jackson's new album and manage the superstar's other business interests.
Some people have the idea that the Smooth Criminal singer had taken a total break from music during his break in the mid-2000s. But according to the legend himself, he never stopped creating new music. "I never stopped [writing music]. "I'm always writing, it's how it is," he said in a 2006 interview with Access Hollywood. "I like to take sounds and put 'em on the microscope and just talk about how we want to manipulate the character of it."
