#Thriller40 Promo ist gestartet. Zuerst - New York feierte Michael Jacksons 40-jähriges #Thriller-Jubiläum am 28. Oktober 2022 auf dem Times Square auf der Nasdaq-Werbetafel, mit riesigenr Plakatwand und einem Flashmob mit Tänzern von "MJ The Musical". John Branca und Karen Langford, der Estate of Michael Jackson, und Tavon Olds-Sample läuteten die Glocke der Nasdaq-Markteröffnungszeremonie ein, wie Michael Jackson es 2001 für die Promotion der neuen Single "You Rock My World" von Invincible tat. "Thriller" wurde ursprünglich am 30. November 1982 veröffentlicht. Damit hieß es - los geht es mit der Promo für #Thriller40.

First - New York celebrated Michael Jackson's 40th THRILLER anniversary on the 28th of October 2022, in Times Square on the Nasdaq billboard, with their billboard playing the original song and a flash mob with dancers from the cast of "MJ The Musical". John Branca and Karen Langford, the Estate of Michael Jackson, and Tavon Olds-Sample rang the bell of the Nasdaq market opening ceremony like Michael Jackson did for the promotion of the new single "You Rock My World" from Invincible in 2001 . "'Thriller" was originally released on November 30, 1982.

Nun zum dritten Male - und es lässt sich nicht leugnen, dass die Thriller Night in Los Angeles das alljährliche Ereignis zu #Thrillerween für immer ist. Organisiert von Prince Michael Jackson unter seiner Charity Organisation "Heal Los Angeles Foundation" und der Dee Dee Foundation (vertreten durch Michael Jackson's Neffen) wird es auch zukünftig das Event zu Halloween sein, das Michael Jackson Fans, Prominente, die MJ lieben, und Michael Jacksons Freunde und ehemalige Mitarbeiter jährlich vereint, um Michael Jackson an seinem Lieblingsfest auf Hayvenhurst, dem ehemaligen Wohnsitz der Jackson Familie, zu feiern. 2022 war natürlich das Motto "Thriller40". Gesichtet wurden zahlreiche Prominente: Chris Tucker, Travis Payne, Salif Gueve, Greg Phillinganes, Brad Sundberg, Ola Ray, Vincent Patterson, Jonathan „Sugarfoot“ Moffett, Will.I.am - und viele andere. Chris Tucker erhielt für seine Untrstützung der "Heal The World Foundation" den Award "Man Of The Mirror". Die "Thriller Night"s in Encino überraschen mit außergewöhnlichen Halloween-Dekorationen und Halloween-Naschereien ganz im Sinne von Michael Jackson, die Gerüchten zufolge von Michael Jacksons jüngstem Sohn Bigi entworfen wurden. Next Bonus Tracks for #thriller40 - "Starlight" and "Can't Get Outta The Rain"
Der Song, den die Welt als "Thriller" kennt, begann mit einem anderen Titel und Text. Dieser trug den Titel "Starlight. Ein Song, der zuvor noch nie veröffentlicht wurde. Starlight" ist die Original-Demoversion von Thriller. Ursprünglich geschrieben von Songwriter Rod Temperton, der auch zusammen mit Michael Jacksons bahnbrechendem Soloalbum Off The Wall arbeitete. Die ursprüngliche Idee war, einen Song zu schreiben, der Jacksons Liebe zum Kino und seiner sich entwickelnden Persönlichkeit entspricht. Dann baten Michael und Quincy Rod, den Song mit gruseligeren Obertönen zu überarbeiten. Es entstand "Thriller".
Can’t Get Outta The Rain wurde von Michael und Quincy gemeinsam geschrieben und, obwohl er nicht auf dem Album „Thriller“ veröffentlicht wurde, war er die B-Seite der ersten Single des Albums, „The Girl Is Mine“. Der Titel „Can’t Get Outta The Rain“ ist eigentlich der zweite Teil von „You Can’t Win“, und wurde bereits 1979 auf den „You Can’t Win“ Singles zum The Wiz Soundtrack veröffentlicht.
Während Thriller wurde dieser zweite Part von „You Can’t Win“ als einzelner Titel auf diverse Thriller-Singles gepresst. (Der Songwriter von „You Can’t Win“ wird nicht angegeben – Michael Jackson und Quincy Jones haben offenbar angelehnt an den Song einen zweiten Song komponiert.)

Can't Get Outta The Rain - Michael Jackson
The song that the world knows as “Thriller” started out with a different title and lyrics. When originally written, it was titled “Starlight, which never been released before. "Starlight" is the original demo version of Thriller. Originally penned by songwriter Rod Temperton who also worked on Michael Jackson's breakthrough solo album Off The Wall. The original idea was to write a song befitting of Jackson's love of cinema and his evolving persona. Then Michael and Quincy asked Rod to reimagine the song with scarier overtones which led Rod to rewrite the lyrics and come up with a new title — “Thriller.”
Can't Get Outta The Rain was co-written by Michael Jackson and Quincy Jones and, although never released on the album "Thriller". But it was the B-side of the album's first single, "The Girl Is Mine". The track "Can't Get Outta The Rain" is actually the second part of "You Can't Win", and was already released in 1979 on the "You Can't Win" singles for The Wiz soundtrack. During Thriller, this second part of "You Can't Win" was pressed as a single title on various thriller singles. (The songwriter of "You Can't Win" is not named – Michael Jackson and Quincy Jones apparently composed a second song based on the song.)

Am 2. Oktober 2022 verstarb der amerikanische Fotograf, den seine Fotos von Prominenten, vor allem seine Aufnahmen von Marilyn Monroe, berühmt machten. Als Fotograf begleitete er Michael Jackson mit der Kamera bei den Dreharbeiten zu dem Musikvideo "Thriller". Daraus entstand das unglaubliche Buch "Michael Jackson: The Making of Thriller" - mit vielen nicht veröffentlichten Aufnahmen von "Hinter den Kulissen" von Thriller!

On October 2, 2022, the American photographer Douglas Kirkland passed away, who is famous for his photos of celebrities, especially for his photographs of Marilyn Monroe. As a photographer, he accompanied Michael Jackson with his camera during the filming of the music video "Thriller". The result was the incredible book "Michael Jackson: The Making of Thriller" - with many unreleased footage of "Behind the Scenes" by Thriller!
Ausstellungen in China und Brasilien #Thriller40
Eine Michael Jackson-Ausstellung, organisiert von chinesischen MJ Fans, wird am 5. November in Shenzen City, China, eröffnet. In Brasilien ist es der Künstler Selmo Wander, der seine MJ-Figuren vom 1. November 2022 bis zum 30. November 2022 im Teatro Municipal von São Gonçalo (Brasilien) ausstellt. Etwa 30 seiner MJ-Skulpturen können. besichtigt werden. Beide Ausstellung sind anläßlich #Thriller40

A Michael Jackson exhibition, organized by Chinese MJ Fans, will be open on Nov, 5 in Shenzen City, China. In Brazil Selmo Wander will exhibit his MJ figurines at the Teatro Municipal of São Gonçalo from 1st November 2022 to 30th November 2022. About 30 of his MJ sculptures can be visited. It's all about #Thriller40!
