La star di Ozark Jason Bateman rivela di aver quasi abbattuto Michael Jackson sulla sua bicicletta

Jason Bateman e un altro bambino stella si sono quasi scontrati con Michael Jackson all'inizio degli anni '80.

L'ex star bambino Jason Bateman ha goduto di una rinascita di carriera negli ultimi due decenni.

È meglio conosciuto per i programmi TV di successo Arrested Development e, più recentemente , Ozark tanto quanto la sua recitazione giovanile e adolescenziale, ma forse le cose sarebbero andate diversamente se avesse pedalato un po' più velocemente o più lentamente in un fatidico giorno negli anni '80.

Parlando al Jimmy Kimmel Live , al ben collegato Bateman è stato chiesto se conoscesse Michael Jackson , spingendolo a rivelare il suo quasi mancato.

"Ricky Schroder ed io abbiamo quasi investito Michael Jackson con le nostre biciclette", ha detto Bateman.

"Questo è stato mentre stavamo facendo Silver Spoons alla Universal e avremmo bisogno delle nostre biciclette perché i bambini devono giocare".

Ha aggiunto: Michae era lì per vedere [ Schroder ]... era un fan dello show e un fan del Ricker.

"[Jackson] stava salendo sul palco mentre stavamo zumando e quasi lo ha portato a terra".

Ricky Schroder ha guidato Silver Spoons nei panni di Ricky Stratton, con Bateman che interpretava il suo migliore amico Derek Taylor dal 1982 al 1984.

Quindi, a seconda di quando è successo esattamente, i giovani Jason e Ricky avrebbero potuto cambiare per sempre il corso della storia del pop se avessero fatto un grave danno a Jackson con le loro BMX quando la superstar del pop aveva solo circa 20 anni.

No Bad , Dangerous o HIStory , e se l'incidente è accaduto all'inizio della corsa di Bateman, nemmeno Thriller . Accidenti!

8th October 2005 - Michael & Grace take the kids to see the stage show of Billy Elliot. They are accompanied by Mark Lester & his family.

The singer arrived at London's Victoria Palace theatre in a people carrier and security staff forced a path for him through a scrum of fans and photographers to the building's front door.

Michael turned up at the theatre 15 minutes after the show's scheduled start after leaving the Dorchester Hotel in Park Lane, where he is staying, a mile away.

He is in London to record a charity song, From The Bottom Of My Heart, in aid of victims of Hurricane Katrina.

The West End musical of Billy Elliot tells the tale of a boy growing up in a tough mining town in the north of England who has a fascination with ballet. Sir Elton John has provided music for the stage makeover of the successful film
