Both Michael and Dr. King fought tirelessly for civil rights for all people and to heal the worldMartin Luther King’s message of peace, love, and unity throughout his activism inspired Michael Jackson both in his music and everyday life. Apparently, one of the reasons why Michael's vision extended beyond the music and raised awareness for racial diversity and human rights was Martin Luther King.

“A true visionary if there ever was one. MLK was (and still is) a leader in love and unity. He inspired so many, my father among them. His message of peace, love, and unity inspired my father in his work and his everyday life and in turn inspired me. Thank you for your work, Dr. King.
