He had so many gifts at his disposal…a voice that reached the sublime, an inner rhythm that revealed itself in sound and movement, storytelling that touched the heart, a dancer in his soul with a perfect dancer’s body . He was singer, songwriter, composer, dancer, performer, director, producer, creator. He brought joy, revealed needs, embraced color and culture, created visions for healing, inspired all to reach for a better world. Believing in the power of the people, Michael loved completely. Michael’s humility, lack of ego, generosity, charity, kindness, truthfulness, faith, and bravery showed the world how to live.

Michael Jackson-Album "Invincible" erschien in USA und Kanada.

2. Teil

Michael widmete sein Album „Invincible“ Benny Hermansen. Im Januar 2001 erstachen in Oslo (Norwegen) eine Gruppe von Neo-Nazis den 15jährigen Benjamin "Benny" Hermansen afrikanischer Abstammung. Benjamin war der Freund von Michael Jacksons Freund Omar Bhatti. Rassenhass, Diskriminierung und Vorurteile gegen Menschen, die anders sind, war immer schon eine Herzensangelegenheit von Michael Jackson. Michael Jackson erinnerte mit folgenden Worten in seinem Booklet vom Album Invincible an Benjamin:

"This album is dedicated to Benjamin "Benny" Hermansen. May we continue to remember not to judge man by the color of his skin, but the content of his Character. Benjamin ... we love you ... may you rest in peace."

Außerdem widmete er sein Album “Invincible“ seiner Großmutter Nicholette Sottile. Hierbei muss erklärt werden, dass es sich nicht um Michaels leibliche Großmutter handelte. Nicolette Sottile war die Großmutter mütterlicherseits von Frank Cascio. Ich denke, Michael hat Franks Großmutter "adoptiert", so wie er auch einige Cousins hatte, die nicht mit ihm verwandt waren

In Frank Cascios Buch "My Friend Michael" steht neben einem Foto folgendes von Frank Cascio geschrieben:

„My grandmother Nicoletta Sottile with Michael at my parents' house in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey. Michael loved my grandmother, and she loved him. He even went on to dedicate an award to her.”

Und wenn Michael sagt es ist seine Großmutter, dann ist das so. Er muss sie auf jeden Fall sehr geliebt haben, sonst hätte er ihr das Album nicht gewidmet

Buongiorno gruppo!

Ieri stavo curiosando su TikTok quando è comparso un video su Damiano dei Maneskin e mi ha colpito molto il suo abbigliamento, chi vi potrebbe ricordare??

Premetto che non sono fan del gruppo né tanto meno di Damiano ma non vi da un pò l'idea di rivedere Michael, dato che anche lui spesso si veste con look stravaganti, molto eccentrici e appariscenti??

(Prima che si scateni il putiferio, NON STO PARAGONANO Damiano a Michael come musicista ma semplicemente la capacità nel farsi notare con i suoi look).

È incredibile l'effetto che faceva sul palcoscenico, ad esempio in Humane Nature, in cui i movimenti finali venivano esaltati dai riflessi luminosi dei suoi colori.

Riusciva a trasformare quell'indimenticabile momento delle performance in qualcosa di ultraterreno, etereo, onirico, in cui il tempo si fermava per poi sparire nel buio.

Ricordo il famoso aneddoto del compianto David Zard, che raccontava della minaccia fatta da Michael di non esibirsi nel concerto di Roma nel 1988, se non fosse arrivato sul palco.

Senza il laser non sarebbe stato lo stesso spettacolo.
