This photo is here as an excuse for me to mention a documentary currently available on SBS On Demand here in Oz, about President Carter's time in office and all the famous musicians whom he befriended and who have continued to have contact with him via his various humanitarian projects. Michael is not in the film, unfortunately, but if you watch it, especially the last section about Carter's humanitarian activities post-Presidency, you'll understand the respect they must have had for each other.
