IL NOSTRO CUORE PER MICHAEL L'OMAGGIO FLOREALE DEI FAN ITALIANI
Il prossimo 25 giugno ricorreranno i 15 anni dalla scomparsa di Michael Jackson. E, come da tradizione, i fan italiani torneranno ancora una volta ad omaggiare l'uomo e la leggenda con un grande Cuore floreale che in quel giorno verrà esposto al 'Forest Lawn Memorial Park' di Glendale, davanti al mausoleo di Holly Terrace in cui dal 3 settembre 2009 riposa il Re.
Il nostro Cuore - simbolo dell'unico luogo al mondo in cui Michael continuerà a vivere per sempre - sarà interamente composto da rose rosse, con al centro la scritta emblematica in legno bianco "We Love You, Michael" e, ai suoi piedi, una fascia con la dicitura "FROM ITALY".
Allegato alla composizione floreale, ci sarà un biglietto contenente i nomi di tutti i donatori più il logo del Michael Jackson FanSquare.
Per milioni di fan in tutto il mondo, il 25 giugno rappresenta ancora oggi uno spartiacque tra le inenarrabili emozioni che la star più luminosa del firmamento musicale riusciva a regalare con la sua arte e l'amara consapevolezza che la sua perdita ha lasciato tra noi un vuoto incolmabile.
Perché Michael Jackson è stato sì un artista di straordinario e ineguagliabile talento, ma si è anche dimostrato un maestro di vita, un animo puro da cui trarre importanti insegnamenti.
Per questo, ogni 25 giugno, ci piace celebrare la sua eccezionale esistenza nel modo che conosciamo meglio, nello spirito che lui stesso ha sempre cercato di trasmetterci: quello umanitario, solidale, al fianco di coloro ai quali la vita non smette di riservare le prove più dure.

Alla luce della tragedia umanitaria che giorno dopo giorno si sta perpetrando davanti ai nostri occhi in Medio Oriente, la nostra iniziativa del Cuore floreale assumerà un significato ancora più concreto e profondo.
Se infatti una metà delle donazioni sarà destinata alla composizione (per un massimo di 551,25 $), il restante 50% (o più) lo devolveremo a Medici Senza Frontiere Onlus, che nella martoriata Striscia di Gaza quotidianamente assiste feriti e malati a Rafah, Khan Younis e Deir Al Balah, grazie all'impegno di 400 membri dello staff palestinese e di 30 professionisti dello staff internazionale.
80.000 feriti, 36.000 persone uccise, e tra queste 493 operatori sanitari.
Sono i numeri sconvolgenti di ciò che sta accadendo a Gaza, in una situazione destinata a peggiorare ogni giorno di più e dove diventa sempre più difficile far entrare aiuti umanitari.
Ma, anche grazie all'opera di Medici Senza Frontiere Onlus, si continua a farlo in ogni modo possibile strappando vite ad una morte certa.
Le donazioni devolute a Medici Senza Frontiere serviranno a fornire medicazioni urgenti, cibo terapeutico, acqua pulita.
Di OGNI EURO raccolto, il 79% viene destinato ai progetti per curare i pazienti, il 18% è utilizzato per raccogliere altre donazioni generando almeno 5 volte tanto, e solo il 3% va a coprire i costi dell'Organizzazione.

"Michael Jackson was in his hotel room alone, meditating. And in the middle of the second leg of his 'Bad World Tour.'
He was now in Vienna, Austria, the musical capital of the Western world.
And it was here, at the Marriott Hotel, that his 'Magnum Opus,' 'Earth Song,' was born on June 1, 1988.
Outside his hotel, beyond Ring Strasse Boulevard and the sprawling Stadtpark, he could see the majestically lit Museums, Cathedrals and opera houses. He found himself immersed in a world of culture and privilege, far from his childhood home in Gary, Indiana.
Yet despite the opulence that surrounded him, mentally and emotionally he was somewhere else.
It was not mere loneliness. It was something deeper: an overwhelming despair about the condition of the world.
In 1988, Jackson would certainly have had reason to be self-centered. He was the most famous person on the planet.
However, while-in some respects-he enjoyed the attention he received, he also felt a deep responsibility for how he used his celebrity.
And in that 1988, he certainly had good reason to worry.
The news read like chapters of ancient Scripture. There were heat waves and droughts, great fires and strong earthquakes, genocide and famine. Violence intensified in the Holy Land, while forests in the Amazon were devastated, and then garbage, oil and sewage littered the coasts.
Suddenly, it was understood that so many were literally destroying our home.
Such stories often touched Jackson to tears. He internalized them, and felt the physical pain.
He was always sensitive to suffering and injustice. Particularly during those years, though, his sense of moral responsibility had grown.
Much of that pain and despair flowed into his soul while he was in his hotel room, meditating.
Then, suddenly, it "fell into [his] lap" 'Earth Song'. A song interpreted from her perspective, her voice.
A lament, and a plea.
The chorus came first -- a mute cry.
He grabbed his audio device, and made the recording.
Aaaaaaaaah... Oooooooooh...
The chords were simple, but powerful: from an A-flat minor to a C-sharp triad; from an A-flat with minor seventh to a C-sharp triad; then, modulating upward, from a B-flat minor to an E-flat triad.
"That's it!" thought Jackson.
Then he refined the introduction, and then some verses.
He visualized everything in his head, and thus created what would become the greatest song he ever composed...."
