Still, the road provided Michael with a worldliness young boys found difficult to shun. At the Peppermint Lounge in Chicago, the Jacksons' dressing room had a peephole that looked right in to the ladies' bathroom. "We all fought to look in there, ' says Marlon. 'We learned everything there was to know about ladies." A decade later, when the Jackson Five were in London for a Royal Command Performance, Michael and Marlon found another inviting peephole in their dressing room. This one looked directly into the room next door, which was occupied by stage actress Carol Channing. "Michael and I took turns looking and laughing, ' chuckles Marlon. 'We saw Carol without anything on, including her wig."
