“If you can’t afford to travel, you travel mentally through reading. You can see anything and go any place you want to in reading.”
Reading was one of Michael’s favorite things to do and over the course of time we have heard from his very few real friends, that his thirst for knowledge was so big that you would always find him with a book in his hand. He wanted to constantly learn and grow not only as an artist but as a human being as well. He was concerned about everything, whether it affected him or not. He was also learning new stuff when he was travelling through his world tours, where he saw different people and cultures. But what he says above is that if you’re not financially able to physically travel, reading and the imagination that comes along with it will take you places you never knew existed. There are no limits and you can subconsciously travel everywhere. Michael’s words and teachings were never random. If you listen carefully, what he says always has a deep meaning and a message waiting to be discovered.
